The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, managerial expertise, and technical knowledge to coordinate cross-functional teams, optimize production workflows, and implement cost-effective strategies. The Factory Manager also ensures a safe working environment, leads workforce development, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and plays a key role in aligning factory operations with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities & Duties

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily factory operations and production processes
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment
• Implement cost-effective production strategies
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production workflows
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials

People Management:

• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Provide leadership and direction to improve overall factory performance
• Address operational challenges and mediate workplace conflicts to maintain productivity

Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations
• Develop and enforce factory policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies

Strategic & Financial Leadership:

• Prepare and manage the factory budget

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

KPIs may include: production output, cost per unit, on-time delivery rate, safety incident rate, and employee turnover.

Age Group:

• 20 – 35 Years

Experience:

Preferably, at least 1-2 Years in a related field. e.g. sales support, administrative work, documentation (quotations, invoices, shipping, etc), and customer service.

Basic Requirements:

• Can communicate in English, both written & spoken
• Good understanding of sales-related matters
• Good knowledge of computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
• Good team player & a positive work attitude
• Good organizational skills with minimum supervision required
• Can contribute to team-building, improving overall efficiency
• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory)
